Asahi Pentax SV 35mm SLR Film Camera Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 + Case - Near Mint

Asahi Pentax SV - Classic Mechanical 35mm SLR with Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 Lens & Original Case

This listing is for a near mint Asahi Pentax SV 35mm SLR film camera with the legendary Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens and its original Pentax case. It's fully working, with all shutter speeds tested. Made between 1962 and 1968, the SV is one of the classic early Pentax SLRs. It was built entirely from metal to a superb standard, and it's fully mechanical, so it needs no batteries at all. It's a beautiful camera to use and a great piece for any Pentax collection.

The Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 is one of the most celebrated lenses Pentax ever made. It's loved for its sharpness, smooth focusing and lovely glowing rendering, and its fast f/1.4 aperture is ideal for low light and for soft, creamy backgrounds. With the M42 screw mount, the camera also takes a huge range of vintage lenses.
